Careitha Davis: Creative Levels

I originally collaborated with Cassandra M. on this assignment but with my absence she was only able to help me record because she found a new partner. Thank you anyways.

After watching, do you notice if level changes in the movement help the tempo versatility in the dance sequence?

  1. I think the change of levels can and does affect tempo, but you seem to tweak those tendencies. At the high level, a jump can only be quick. At the middle level there is a range of dynamics involved. At the low level, it seems less easy--but not impossible--to move quickly. At all levels, a frozen shape can evolve very slowly.
